Class credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for merchandise, fabric, notions, machines or other retail purchases.

If Fabric Stash Cancels a Class

If Fabric Stash cancels a class, registered participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration, receive a future class credit or receive a refund.

Youth Classes

Unless a class description specifically states otherwise, youth classes are drop-off programs.

Parents and guardians are welcome to come into the studio at drop-off, meet the instructor and help their participant get settled. However, we ask that parents and guardians not remain in the classroom during instruction unless arrangements have been made in advance.

A parent or guardian must remain reachable by phone for the duration of the class.

Please arrive promptly for pick-up at the scheduled class end time.

Open Studio

Open Studio is designed for independent sewing and embroidery time in a shared creative environment.

Open Studio may include access to designated studio machines, tools and workspaces depending on the session booked.

Open Studio is not a class and does not include full project instruction.

Fabric Stash staff may be available for light assistance, troubleshooting and general questions, but participants should be comfortable working independently.

Participants who require more hands-on instruction are encouraged to register for a class or private lesson.

Some equipment or machines may require participants to complete an introductory class or demonstrate that they can operate the equipment safely before independent use.

Studio Machines & Equipment

Please treat all Fabric Stash machines, tools and equipment with care.

Participants must:

Please do not attempt to repair, adjust or disassemble studio equipment without permission.

Safety & Participation

Sewing and embroidery involve machinery, needles, scissors, rotary cutters, irons and other potentially hazardous equipment.

By participating in a Fabric Stash class, workshop or Open Studio session, participants acknowledge the normal risks associated with these activities and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Fabric Stash staff and instructors.

For everyone’s safety, Fabric Stash reserves the right to stop a participant from using equipment if it is being used improperly or unsafely.

Studio Amenities

Participants have access to studio amenities including:

Coffee and tea are complimentary for customers and class participants unless otherwise indicated.

Please clean up after yourself and take all personal belongings, food and project materials home with you at the end of your visit.

Food & Drinks

Food and beverages are welcome in designated areas of the studio.

To protect machines, projects and merchandise, please keep open beverages and food away from sewing machines, embroidery machines, cutting surfaces and retail fabric.

Covered or lidded drinks are strongly encouraged while working in the studio.

Smoking & Vaping

Fabric Stash is a smoke-free and vape-free environment.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the studio.

Retail Purchases

Fabric, notions, class kits, patterns, supplies and other retail merchandise are subject to Fabric Stash’s regular retail policies.

Cut fabric, custom-prepared items and opened or used supplies are final sale unless defective.

Class credits cannot be applied toward retail merchandise unless specifically stated otherwise.

Respecting Our Shared Studio

Fabric Stash is designed to be a friendly, inclusive and creative community space.

We ask everyone using the studio to be respectful of:

Please allow yourself enough time to pack up so that your workspace is clear by the end of your booked session.

Arrival & Class Times

Please plan to arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before your scheduled class so you have time to get settled.

Classes will begin as close to the scheduled start time as possible. Late arrivals may miss important demonstrations or safety instructions, so please contact Fabric Stash if you know you are going to be delayed.
